Our leadership style is focussed on Inspiring individuals and influencing disparate silos in organisations to embark on a journey they believe in. We do that through commitment to learning the domain, leading by example, listening and simplifying the complex. Our programs deliver early and often with a strong focus on quality and risk management.
Reduce the learning curve by utilising domain expertise. If the problem is high volume transactions in financial services, it is likely we have the experience to offer valuable solutions fast. We source the best technical business analysts in the industry so that our clients can move quickly.
High-volume, real-time solutions are what we deliver. Our microservice engineers have been through the learning curve and are ready to ship code. We are particularly cognizant of the easily maintainable, always-on, highly available and scalable requirements of today's real time solutions. We believe that engineers should be responsible for production support and so are invested in quality.

What are the right questions to ask of a program? Decades of experience, learning from the most successful programs and understanding the missteps of others has led to our assurance consultants forming a solid foundations of good judgement and foresight. Many large consultancies justify their fees by reporting innocuous and distracting ‘red-flag’ issues. Yet the same consultancies miss the harder to spot risks. Valuable risk identification and mitigation requires real world experience.
With over two and a half decades of industry experience, I specialise in leading large programs where a technical understanding is essential for identifying and mitigating
critical delivery risks. Our team philosophy is to delivery early, often and with confidence - this is the value-driven approach of The Program Practice.
The long-term commitments and deep client relationships we have fostered are testament to the trust built over multiple successful engagements. By consistently delivering tangible client value we are continually invited back. We keep it that simple.
The Program Practice is a Sydney based technology consulting practice specialising in helping the financial services industry deliver large and complex programs of work. Commitments span across retail, business, private wealth, institutional banking, and regulatory sectors. What sets us apart is our domain-specific expertise combined with engineering excellence. Through this, we have accelerated the delivery of multiple high-profile, mission-critical projects with outstanding quality.
We face into Australia’s most important, bleeding edge banking products with a focus on real time, high volume and data rich payment systems. Those systems must have functional integrity, but they also must be stable, scalable, performant, highly available, secure and compliant. We help our clients create platforms that meet those objectives today ahead of the challenges and market opportunities of tomorrow.
Program Practice consultants through commitment, experience and good judgement help financial institutions embrace the latest real time innovations from customer facing channels though the back office to market infrastructure. Priding ourselves at getting it right at the first time of asking and lowering costs of delivery by avoiding redesign and refactoring of code.
Our reputation is such that both Australia’s payment regulators trust us to deliver key aspects of industry programs of national significance including PayTo at AP+ and the AES Migration of credit and debit card national infrastructure at Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet).
